CAT: Es tracta d’una llàntia tardorepublicana amb petites aletes laterals decoratives en forma de llaç i amb la nansa i el pic de forma triangular reintegrats posteriorment en una antiga restauració. El disc està decorat amb una escena de cacera entre un venator, és a dir, un especialista en la lluita amb animals en els jocs o ludi romans, i un felí, possiblement una pantera.
Les llànties, lucernae en llatí, eren utensilis fets de pedra, terracota o fins i tot metall que en època romana servien per il·luminar de manera artificial les estances de les llars. This is the fossilised claw of a carnivorous (meat-eating) dinosaur. It was found at Cape Otway, Victoria in 2014 by John Wilkins during fieldwork by a Museum Victoria-led team of researchers and volunteers.
This claw is very similar to the claw of Australovenator wintonensis, a theropod dinosaur found in Queensland and described in 2009. We think that this claw specimen is from a dinosaur closely related to Australovenator, if not from the same species. Both Victorian and Queensland dinosaurs would have been alive about 100 million years ago during the Cretaceous period.
The Museum Victoria claw is obviously from a carnivore, being rather sharp. In life it would have been even longer and sharper as the bone would have been covered by a horny sheath. As the Clone Wars pushed into their fourth year, the Republic began to look back at existing ships in service and determine how best they could be preserved and improved to increase survivability and compatibility with other ships in the fleet. One such ship that underwent multiple improvements was the Arquitens-class Light Cruiser.
A new bridge module was installed using standardized Command and Control (C2) systems already in place on the Venator and Acclamator, the engines were brought up to current standards along with structural adjustments to allow for more efficient cooling, and the ship’s weapons were rearranged and more escape pods installed for crew use in emergencies.
