This tower has long since been abandoned by its former occupants and lies in ruin. I used the Warhammer 40k models Witchfate Tor and Dreadstone Blight as my main references for the design of the tower. I started this model in Maya, blocking in all the shapes. Then I moved to ZBrush and sculpted in detail. In hindsight, I wish I had made this a more modular blockout because I ran out of time sculpting each individual piece. After I had sculpted enough to finish baking my Game Res mesh I moved to texturing in Substance Painter. It took a bit of time to get my UV’s laid out well enough to have the resolution I wanted, and I ended up going from 1 texture set to 2 in order to achieve the level of detail I wanted. The glass mesh is divided in two (outer and inner glass) for sketchfab aesthetic purposes.

UV’s:
Glass bottle’s (both inner and outer) and cork. For some reason the glass UV’s will not show in the sketchfab inspector.
TEXTURES:
Includes game ready seamless cork textures: 2048x2048 diffuse and specular maps. This is an original texture made by myself using my own photograph references and Krita. (Haha, professionalism!).
Specular map may work as a normal map.
For a “cartoony” style I found that using a blurry version of the cork texture works well.
