The Cartel Faction faced a need to strike back at the US and South American navy’s control of shipping lanes and began to arm its fleet of smuggling boats for war. The result is a low profile missile boat that is very hard to detect and can sneak close to larger captial ships and strike with little warning. This example uses a fiberglass body with steel supports, a survilance radar and vent are mounted above the crew comparment. In place of a cargo of drugs, the Cartels have mounted two Chinese C-802 in cansiters that was purchased on the black market. The C-802 has a range of nearly 200km and can sink ships up to a frigate in size making one of the most dangerous weapons in the Cartels arsenal. In designing the starfighters of its TIE line, Sienar Fleet Systems drew heavily on the designs of Kuat Systems Engineering ships such as the V-wing and Eta-2 interceptor.
