The Achzarit (Hebrew: cruel, feminine inflection) is a heavily armored personnel carrier manufactured by the Israeli Defence Forces Corps of Ordnance. The Achzarit is based on the Soviet-built T-54/T-55 tank, beginning with those captured from Arab armies during the Arab–Israeli wars. To make space for a troop compartment, the eight-and-a-half tonnes turret, the original superstructure of the chassis and the transversely mounted engine were removed. Non-Explosive Reactive Armour was installed over the original hull. The first model of the Achzarit entered in service in 1988. Modeled in Blender and is 1/72 scale. Each piece is marked with individual pins so that there is no errors in assembling. The second version, is more for MMU machines, where the gold patterns have actually been cut in to the sides of the cube, so the gold will actually be inlayed. Both versions are made up of 6 individual sides, with pins/slots for the sides to be assembled, and also to make printing easier. The second cycle was implemented using Leica Cyclone and Reality Capture programs, which were enclosed in data binding to a coordinate system. The next point was an automatic combination of aligned point clouds and photographs. The shoot was approached in two passes, with Erik taking on the polarised side of the shoot while I did the specular shoot. Shot with 50mm lenses and Godox AR400 strobes at night time.
