For this project I took the challenge of taking something from animation and bringing it into the 3D world of game engines. This project was really about utilizing and cross referencing multiple sources of reference when only limited amounts of information are shown about the subject matter. This brought the truck to life as a rig-ready game model in UE4 along with a sweeping stylized landscape. I uploaded this model to test how SketchFab renders something like this. The tricky part was figuring out how to get the silver foil on the top lable to be reflective. Got it to work :-) The cream looks like glossy plastic, but it’s a real-time render and gets the point across. I didn’t correctly UV map the underside because my renders were always on a table - so it didn’t matter. This took me a while, it was a very bussy year me for having fun enough. Still I managed to finish it (or I hope). I will be uploading OC’s.instead of more FanArt in the future. This was a really fun practice tho, I really wanted to study this interesting rig setting. The model is far from being exact (nor in colors or shape) from the movie model (Megan walker’s) I realized too late. Still I really loved how she looks and I’m really proud of how much I learned from this exercise! I animated her way too flirtatious, as the original wouldn’t act like that, would be just very funny and adorable instead :)!. (I’m guilty of exploring her hips capability) NO MATTER WHAT: I hope you enjoy to watch it!. Movie comment: I really enjoyed the movie!, most in my native lenguage rather than original. This was a very fun piece to make for Revival, I enjoyed designing and thinking about all the details and symbolism in it while also balancing having a sense of the sterotypical reaper imagery while also being distinctly unique from it. There is some information about it in the annotations I encourage you to explore if you’d like. This was made for use in UE4 and as such the textures I have here are not the complete version since I planned to do some things in engine.
