I’ve been watching these mushrooms grow in a little patch of forest near my house and the #AgisoftNatureChallenge provided a good incentive to see how well they’d scan. I was a bit surprised at how some of the details like the ant colony entrance turned out. All in all, it was a good experience trying to capture something that I might not have attempted otherwise. Model made from 132 12MB images taken with a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and processed in Metashape using “High” quality settings. Hi all ! Today I’m very happy to present you my first Persian Soldier Set :) I’m thinking I will take this way for the futur, to upload complete sets instead of posting items one by one. I will try to adapt my modelling to better match with Game Engine integration and efficient design too. The dress is into one single Shader, so It can spare some drawcalls inside Game Engine. Mahavihar are monasteries that are usually two stories tall, very much important to cultural community called “newar” who are Kathmandu’s historical inhabitants. It is said that by ringing the bell, the devotee informs the deity of his arrival. This bell is beautifully carved and stands together with Buddha and other statues at the top. This is a tribute to the beloved cartoonist Charles M. Schulz (1922-2000) and his classic comic strip: Peanuts (1950-2000). The specific strip I chose to model and animated after is from June 22, 1970, where the tiny yellow bird Woodstock was named for the first time by Snoopy. Another tribute of this one is visual storytelling, which successful comic strips have mastered eons ago. So through animation, it is a challenge to capture and to push visual storytelling on this 3D/VR media platform. My personal reason to do this is to celebrate the upcoming birthday of my biological big sister Hennessy, and my non-biological big brother Eliot.
