This is a tribute to French Art Nouveau painter Théophile Steinlen (1859-1923) and his iconic Le Chat Noir poster (1896), advertising a coming soon tour of the Le Chat Noir’s troupe of cabaret entertainers.
The depth of 2.5D model is created by layered of flat polygonal shapes, inspired by layered paper sculpture.
The chibi (big headed) version has a simple looping animation to have it lively looking around with a swinging tail.
