My entry for the February Challenge of Frontiers. Here we have a cowboy on his way to discover what lays beyond what his eyes can see in the desert. I wanted to take a lower poly and stylized approach to this model, and make it look like a drawing rather than a 3D model. I modeled this in Maya, and with the exception of a few meshes I threw into Substance Painter for opacity, assigned lambert materials for most of the colors. 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 240570 polygons.

As much as I love the renders I have produced for this project, ultimately they don’t show the scope of modelling work that I put into this project; because of that, I have chose to show about 90% of it in sections, so that you can have a thorough look at the work gone into it.
