Museum Description: Dark grey or black carving in soapstone of an Inuit figure fishing. He has caught a white fish through a hole in the ice with a hand held fishing line. There are two white spears sticking up in front of him and other objects made of the contrasting white bone. He is depicted wearing traditional clothing. Dimensions: not recorded, about 100mm height. Notes: String line needs to be re-sculpted and texture painted where it has projected on to base. Scan also had some issues with modelling the right foot, see photos in link below for accurate texture.
