The Machine Gun Bunker of Calarreona it is located in Águilas (Murcia, Spain). Its design and construction is part of the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), possibly built in 1937 or 1938, forming part of the Republic Coast Defense Plan. The bunker is essentially built in concrete. It conserves its lateral entrance. Inside, the bunker allows the placement of two heavy machines gun. It also has two small spaces for storage of supplies and ammunition. This is a diorama inspired by one of Florian Dreyer’s concepts I found on Artstation called ‘Candy Farm Building’. I loved the colours and textures from the concept and really enjoyed creating it in 3D. I’m really enjoying creating these small diorama’s with handpainted textures so I’m sure there will be more coming soon. I used Maya for the modelling and Substance and Photoshop for texturing.
