The Light Amphibious Assault Warship is the US navy litoral transport, design to transport up to 3x60 tons tanks to shore, LAAW is large enough to land a medium helicopter; can be fitted with additional containerized weapons in place of is transport cargo. The LAAW has several advanced naval design features. The entire crew cabin can be retracted below the ships hull reducing the radar and target profile of the LAAW, its mast can also be retraced to lower its overall height allowing it to sail under low bridges and narrow sea lanes. The ship is armed with four remote weapons stations that can mount various light and medium caliber cannons. The LAAW is also equipped with the AN/SLQ-59 Electronic warfare system which can jam radar guided anti-ship missiles and is highly effective, the ship also mounts the EOSS optical tracking system which can detect targets up to 4km away. My first task was to conduct research and design on my own, without relying on a well-known brand. I started by studying various styles and types of military equipment to get an idea of the functionality, durability and appearance of such backpacks.
I paid great attention to every detail, such as fittings, pockets, straps and zippers, to achieve maximum precision and realism.
The process of creating the model also involved working with various textures and finishes to give the backpack a realistic appearance. Every seam, crease and detail has been carefully crafted to create a model that looks like a real military outfit.
An important step in creating a 3D model was optimization to ensure optimal performance and realism of the model.
