A spaceship/gunboat which is slightly based on the basic design of the razor crest from the Mandalorian and yet is different ;) It has 2 rotating double blasters, a defensive anti-missile and fighter anti-aircraft gun. To take on corvettes and cruisers, 20 missiles (which are fully modeled and can therefore also be fired). The ST-W48 blaster was a blaster used by the Sith troopers of the Sith Eternal army. The weapon could be used in a blaster rifle configuration or a blaster carbine configuration where the stock was removed for use in confined spaces. Each ST-W48 had a quarrel-bolt launcher installed below its barrel that used enhanced bowcaster technology for a powerful explosive attack. The rifle’s power cell cartridge was located around the mid-point of the weapon’s length, above the trigger. The weapon had an auto fire mode that provided a high rate of fire. During the Battle of Exegol, the climactic confrontation in the First Order’s war against the Resistance, many Sith troopers fought using ST-W48 blasters. November 26th 2022 - updated the finished model in .FBX format with rigging and 3 different textures. Includes red, blue and flame paintjobs! This sleek one-man fighter was shown in the first episode of the third series, then sat in the cargo bay spockblocking at EVERY POSSIBLE OPPORTUNITY. The fanboys weren’t stupid, it was obvious this gorgeous girl was going to make a comeback to blast the chin horns off some baddies one day… Model is in .FBX format with UV mapping and rigging, you an see the bones in the “Model Inspector” screen. I have made this to match the CGI version with a complete smooth cockpit and extra details around the side blasters. The feet aren’t quite symmetrical, there is a small rectangular detail on the left side but not on the right. I have deliberately made the landing gear flaps on the chin different from the TV show because the on-screen version doesn’t close air tight. I’m proud to finally present a project I’ve been working on since 2015: A diorama scene depicting the Battle of Hoth from “Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back”. My ultimate goal was to present drama and emotion through percieved detail while limiting my polycount as much as possible; Putting weight and motion into each hand-posed character to mimic the feeling one might get looking at a table with wargaming miniatures. The concept was partially inspired by the Halo 3 “Believe” ad series. Workflow: No external textures were used, only vertex color painting and some baking for PBR compatability and reduced file size. Done 100% in Blender3D. What I Learned in the Process: Getting to extensively use vertex painting was one of the most fun aspects of this project. I also gained a lot of experience in basic character modelling, and until now, I had never used Blender’s rigging system. I gained so much more confidence in Cycles materials, and particle effects as well.
