ENG- Baelo Claudia is one of Andalucia´s most significant and well-preserved Roman archeological sites. The extensive ruins are situated on the Costa de la Luz, some 15km north of Tarifa, by the small town of Bolonia and its beautiful beach. The site´s important history rests on the former city having been a strategic point for trade routes between Europe and North Africa; the Straits of Gibraltar are just 14km wide at their narrowest point, and Baelo Claudia profited from this proximity. The Machine Gun Bunker of Alhama de Murcia is one of the best examples of 20th century military architecture in the Region of Murcia. Its design and construction is part of the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), possibly built in 1937, forming part of the Ground Defense Plan of the naval base of Cartagena, strategic installation, from the military point of view, for the survival of the Republic.
The bunker is essentially built in concrete, a scarce and valuable material during the war that was only used in priority military installations. It conserves its two lateral entrances. Inside the bunker is divided into 3 spaces, two of them for the placement of heavy machine guns and the third to the storage of supplies and ammunition, also serving as a refuge.
This model was created from 567 images taken from a DJI Phantom 4 Pro Plus drone. The images were aligned, and the model was generated and textured in Reality Capture.

Yes, this was a hell of a scan… it look me 10-15 minutes to walk the entire street. Shootout to @polycam app (@cpheinrich), that handled the capture from the beginning to the end of this 560 ft long scan (170 m.)!

Clarion Alley is a small street in SF between Mission and Valencia Streets, notable for its world renowned murals. To me it’s the Street Arts Mecca, and it tell so much about the history of SF past decades, its mystical bohemian tradition, the challenges faced by its communities, and much more.
