Water Liles, a project I did to practice the process of creating a plant for Games, started from sculpting the high poly water lilies meshes in Zbrush and then baking the mesh maps to a plane and PBR texturing in Substance painter, after that I created the cutout meshes in Maya by manually cutting meshes from a plane and then creating a variation in maya and finally previewed it in Marmoset toolbag. I was told a really interesting fact about antique medical supplies from a teacher who taught me 3D art in the past. The reasons for a lot of medical supplies/furniture during this time being green is so that when blood sprays on this colour, it appears as black and is less confronting to patients. This is because mixing red and green together, the result achieved is a dark brownish-black colour. The drawers and cupboards have functioning hinges and can be opened and closed to store all of your important medicines and supplies! This asset was created for EDEN, the indie surreal horror game by Missing Mountain Dev. The game takes place in an Australian Manor post WWII and the Gold Rush. I started making a character inspired from the logo of Chocotaco, a twitch PUBG streamer. I was happy with the result but it wasn t enough ,so i started building an enviroment around him…loosely based on PUBG’s Miramar map. I wasn t following a plan or any concept…i just modeled alot of stuff and threw them in. The logistics got out of hand pretty quick and the whole project became a nightmare as it was coming to an end with the animation and texturing in mind. I have no words on how complicated the whole process was.
