One thing I’m particularly proud of is the damaged portion of the flat part of the blade, which I actually “painted” the normals for in Substance Painter! This is my corruption potion concept for a video game potion asset which was inspired by the (Shimmer potion from the Netflix series Arcane) Disclamer - There is some atifacts on the model such as hard seams and low geomatary. Overall this project was a nice but fairly challenging mix between hard-surface and organic-modeling techniques, I also figured I could try and make something more stylized this time. A small stylised piece i created while recovering from an illness, i set myself a time limit of 2.5 hours for the creation of this asset and due to this constraint there are some minor issues with the mesh and some edges that should hold more detail have suffered but overall i feel i captured the art style i was aiming for.
