The Scorpenek droid was a model of droid utilized for combat. The Pyke Syndicate deployed two of these units during the battle for Mos Espa. They were armed with four laser cannons mounted in pairs on either side of its body. Scorpenek droids were equipped with a nearly impervious deflector shield that enveloped it completely, protecting the droid from virtually all conventional weaponry.
This droids appears in episode 7 of The Book of Boba Fett. Boba Fett and Din Jarin(The Mandalorian) confronted two droids on Tatooine. Thanks to Grogu and Rancor, both hostile droids were destroyed.
