Hey friends, in the last episode of the podcast Tip of the Tongue (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LsnxeSJF1qI) the audible shoes were invented. They are shoes with built in speakers and would play you an audiobook while walking in them. So naturally during the last 5 days I made these things while repeatedly telling myself that “I gotta buy those audible shoes” and laughing like an idiot. I quite like how they turned out. What do you think? Sculpting, retopo and rendering done in Blender. Texturing done in Substance Painter. With the use of Photoshop masks, we were able to get a fantastic result. There were a few small detail losses in the metal and glass parts of the thermometer. We remodeled the missing parts in Blender. With the model being in Blender, we baked all sorts of PBR textures. We baked the diffuse, AO, roughness, glossiness, opacity, and normal maps. The remodeled thermometer was sent back to Agisoft for retexturing.
