The school objective was to create a high quality game ready model in a month (the month being shortened to around 3 weeks due to Christmas break). For the model, I chose to create a medieval knight. The Green Knight, low poly was made in Maya, and high poly was made in zBrush. High res was sculpted in 2 days and low res was finished in around 2 days. The game res model was made using the quad draw tool in Maya and UVs were also cut in the software. When creating the low res, I also split some parts off in order to allow for customization as if the model had different armor sets. The textures were made in 4 days with the help of Substance Painter. I followed UE4 PBR guidelines and did every material as a procedural. I did this using generators, fill layers, etc. I did this to allow for felxiability in the texturing and allow for changes to be made if someone chose to. 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 20460 polygons.

I created the base Delorean DMC as a starting point, I then went on to create the Back To The Future movie additions. It was a great project to work on as I was able to base my design on an actual real-world example of a Movie replica Car. After watching Ready Player One I wanted to ‘update’ the model to reflect the changes made in the movie as they looked pretty cool on the big screen, who doesn’t want K.I.T.T additions on a Delorean anyhow? I took the base DeLorean model and some of the BTTF additions I have already added and went all out on the detail, motivated by the amazing Ready Player one visuals. Hello people, I have built a battleship/carrier here that comes from my own imagination but also borrows ideas from ships from the Stargate universe. It is completely rigged.\n\nIt has 8 heavy cannons and 14 medium cannons (all medium cannons have a tracker for easier use of the rig, as well as a collection tracker for 5 cannons on each site so that they can be used synchronously to track a target), plus a heavy rocket launcher.\n\nIt has 4 main engines for sub-light speeds. in the lower middle an auxiliary engine. The bridge is in the upper rear part. Shortly behind it is the reactor and next to it the 8 shield generators. The hyperdrive is connected directly to the reactor. A fully procedural Islamic dome. Both the model and texture are procedurally done in geometry nodes and materials in Blender 3D. The dome design is based on the main mosque of Yazd. Yazd is a historic city in the center of Iran, and a world UNESCO site. The city is iconic for its adobe houses and endless towers. The tower itself has a Timurian (Tamerlane) architecture. The dome part contains a set of repeating geometrical patterns, followed by two sections of caligraphy. The upper part is knotted Kufic calligraphy, it says Mecca ( مکه), the holy city of Islam. The second row is square Kufic calligraphy, reading Allah and another word I cant read.
