En el año 2013 ese conjunto artístico protagonizó una exposición en La Lonja de Zaragoza, que se concebía como un recorrido por la trayectoria artística de su autor. De esta muestra, posteriormente ocho esculturas fueron expuestas durante varios meses en la Plaza de España para acercar el arte a la sociedad, aunque durante este periodo una de las piezas expuestas titulada Ángela fue objeto de un acto vandálico por lo que tuvo que ser restaurada, también lo fue el brazo izquierdo de Mujer con manto azul por causa de una mala manipulación y por la fragilidad de sus materiales. Miao Dao are rather late comers to the family of Chinese swords. They didn’t appear until the fall of Qing dynasty (1911). Due to their massive sizes, they often get compared to western two handed swords and Japanese Ōdachi. Many of them feature pipe-back design （丁背） with very thick spines and relatively thin blades to significantly reduce weight. Such design is very close to the British 1821 cavalry/infantry sabre which managed to significantly lengthened the blade under the same benefit of weight reduction.
