Pathfinder Gauntlets- I wanted to create a gauntlet based on my own concept design for extreme weathers, I went a bit sci-fi but not too much that it wouldn’t be possible to make as a real product. This city was created as a demo of my Medieval City Low Poly Pack, which can be purchased here: https://skfb.ly/6FKTU Every single asset used in this environment comes from that pack. It uses 4 different materials (five if we count the water, as it was separated for manual opacity control), each one with Albedo, Roughness, Normal, AO, Metallic and Opacity maps. Most textures (Environment, People and Market) are 1024x1024, and the one cotaining all the buildings is 2048x2048. Also, most of the details are contained on the normal map, resulting in a low poly count. Even if the scene reaches over 500k polys, keep in mind the size of the city. As for this scene, it has been something I’ve wanted to create for so many years, and I finally decided to make it with the pack. It even works as an UE4 level. I challenged myself to design and model a robot, this dude took me almost a full year to come up with. I’m so bad when it comes to imagining robots and I’m even worse at hard surface modeling. Another challenge I put on myself was to try and not use ball joints, It felt like I was cheating if I used them in my design. One of the biggest lessons I learned from doing this project is that not everything is just not going to be perfect. I spent hours fixing miniscule things, trying to get the perfect alignment when in reality it literally didn’t matter as long it was good enough. The design itself was mainly inspired by Futurama Robots and Team Fortress 2 MVM robots. Anyways I’m happy with what I’ve created. 3D model of the VAZ-2108 car, which was redesigned for the rally championship. VAZ-2108 “Sputnik” is a Soviet front-wheel drive car of group 2, small class with a hatchback type body. It was developed and mass-produced in 1984-2004. VAZ-2108 actually participated in rally championships and other various races in the 90s. However, that car has almost nothing in common with my design, except for the very basics (the original VAZ-2108 car). This model has a well-designed interior, engine compartment and suspension.
