I’m a fan of cars from NFS, NFS2, NFS3: hot pursuit. I like to create accurate replicas of the cars from these games. And i styled this McLaren F1 according to the NFS2 version. For work, i used a mid-poly model, for the possibility of easy use for games, but replaced all the small details of the exterior with HD details in order to achieve quality and good appearance. I created an exact (ND 4 SPD) license plate, some textures and quality wheels. Just as in all my cars, i always create the correct reflecting geometry of mirrors, and the wheels will never hang in the void (like many 3D models and cars from games), because i really love the cars vhich i make. Good old standard of analog video recording on tape cassettes… wait… no. Wrong VHS… VHS-2 is really weird Bullpup Assault Rifle from Croatia. It have really iconic look similar to FAMAS but its not super popular/used. As for model it self, its actually model that I made about 2 years ago, but I had to modify it a bit and create new textures due to previous project that it was part of. Its not super accurate but good enough, also I included two uppers for it… so its plus. Model is rigged, but there is also version with separated parts. I wanted to make a new hellenic thing, but then realised that this may be original Roman design - at least I found no evidence of greek origins of the design. It’s still doric though! This model is based on the sarcophagus of Lucius Cornelius Scipio Barbatus (clearly a roman guy), and here is the fun fact - the inscription on the tablet was once redone, most likely by one of the relatives of Scipio. This is my scene for the Howest DAE diorama assignment. Before starting my studies at DAE I went on a summer trip to Norway and found the nature there, and in particular the forests, to be very inspiring. I tried to capture some of that experience in the foliage and landscaping of the garden. My main goal for this scene was to make it feel like a believable whole while still keeping a strong overall composition. I really tried to push myself on this one so any feedback will always be appreciated. I did my best to convey the forest loner’s story of why he lives where he does. He may be an art thief but I didn’t want to commit any actual art theft myself, so the paintings are just some photographs, mostly from Norway. This is my diorama for the 3D1 final assignment in Howest Digital Arts & Entertainment. The goal was to create a low poly scene based on a selected storyline using Maya and Photoshop. At the end of an overgrown road in the English countryside lives grandma in her lovely stone cottage. She spends a lot of her time outside, tending to her flowers in the old greenhouse, doing daily chores and enjoying tea time while telling stories to her beloved animals.
