The MBAR .45-70 is more or less exactly what it sounds like. A modernized (ca. 1980) BAR chambered in .45-70 Govt. Here featuring an under-slung M203 grenade launcher and a 60 round drum magazine, the MBAR was capable 500 rounds per minute, assuming the operator could handle the intense recoil. The weighted barrel extension and included bi-pod helped to mitigate this drawback but even so the MBAR was more bucking bronco than thoroughbred. I created it to improve my hard surface modeling and texturing skills. The model is divided into 6 parts:
M4A1 Assault Rifle,
Reflex sight,
Suppressor,
Vertical grip,

Each part has separate texture set so every attachment can be used in other weapons (future assets).
The low and high poly meshes were modeled and unwrapped in Blender and then baked and textured in Substance Painter.

The LR 300 is an American assault rifle and conversion kit designed by gunsmith Allan Zitta and manufactured by Z-M Weapons. The LR stands for “Light Rifle” and 300 is for 300 meters, the effective range of the rifle with a standard 55-grain FMJ bullet.
