I created this warmaul for DAE’s Weaponcraft asssignment. A relic weapon designed for “The Scarlet Crusade”, a fanatical religious sect on a grand quest to rid Azeroth of the Undead Scourge up in former Lordaeron. It never had the possibility to shine its brightest light due all the corruption from within. The Scarlet Crusade always interested me in the time I played WoW, but never did I invest in their lore as much. Doing a deep dive I discovered about this lad Saidan Dathoran who was their “Grand Crusader” before being corrupted by this dreadlord. I’m relatively happy with the results - but the way I got there leaves me a bit unsatisfied. A lot of shortcuts, which do speed things up, but at the cost of small amounts of quality. I know what could be better, and I know how I’d make them better - but alas, I am at the mercy of deadlines, and as such, she stays -for now- as such. This was made to go in the back of an ambulance made by Mikephoenix and it was based off of this reference image.
