This house was once belonged to a timber baron in a small Northern California city. But after the logging industry went bust, it’s owner abandoned it to the elements. While not a complete ruin, this house will need a lot of TLC to bring it back to it’s former glory. This house was an experiment for me in tileable materials and seeing how far I could get using nothing but Photoshop for texture creation instead of my usual go to, Substance Painter. Most of these materials started out with a diffuse texture I either photographed myself or found on CGtextures.com. I then created the normal, spec, emmisive, etc in Photoshop. I think this technique works well if you’re going to be putting the model into an engine like Unity or Unreal. The textures hold up at very close and they can be used across many different buildings or props you may have in your game. Also being able to add secondary textures would allow for more variations like grunge. Modeled in Maya 2019 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 80257 polygons.

Hello, this is reworked model of my old Mosin Nagant with PU Scope (my original model can be found on the Nexus as a mod for Fallout:NV). I made several changes, added some details (slings, changed the receiver from hex to round, I still think that the hexagonal receiver looks better, but there were no hexagonal PU snipers. I actually made PE scope, so I might do hex PE sniper one day), which increased the polycount by more than 50%, but it is still more than reasonable. And of course this one is PBR. Main Gun has 2048px texture, scope has 1024px texture. An attic scene I’ve been working as a side project. I wanted to do something simple and not too cluttered, so I wouldn’t have to worry about filling up space. The goal was to invest more time into working on textures and materials, and try to capture a certain mood and atmosphere with the help of lighting. I uploaded the sword alone previously and planned to upload its sheath separately, but eventually decided put them together so it can have a complete showcase as a set. Both high res model and all the details made in Zbrush, painted the texture in substance painter. The animal on the sheath at first was just flat shapes with no details on it, and I thought I finished the model. Later on I looked at it again and again, eventually decided I should add more details and to make the animal figures more alive and to give them more characters, since this was a sword made for Paraoh’s battles, it just has to have that spirit. Painting the texture was another challenge since there are just so many details on the original antique. Made this piece with a heart of awe, and it was a great learning experience!
