This model shows the inner and outer coffins of the Lady Iawttayesheret who was a “great follower of the Diviine Adoratrice of Amun.” She was the daughter of Padikhnum and Tadiaset. She lived during Egypt’s Dynasty 25 (ca. 760-656 B.C.) in the ancient city of Thebes (Luxor) Egypt.
The bottom of the outer coffin, interior of outer coffin, and the interior and foot of the outer coffin lid were not available for scanning and have been false textured here.
Created from 454 photographs (165 LG Volt Mobile Phone, and 289 EOS Rebel T5i) using Metashape 1.5.1. The inner coffin and outer coffin base were photographed in November 2015 and the lid of the outer coffin was photographed in May 2019. A small ancient Egyptian cat head made of a copper alloy from the collection of Bolton Library and Museum Services. The head is unprovenanced, but these objects are particularly well-attested at the sites of Bubastis and Saqqara. In ancient Egypt, the cat was associated with the goddess Bastet, and many objects like this were created to be given in offering at temples and necropoli.
This cat head features pierced ears and finely detailed eyes which may have held some form of inlay.

I uploaded the sword alone previously and planned to upload its sheath separately, but eventually decided put them together so it can have a complete showcase as a set. Both high res model and all the details made in Zbrush, painted the texture in substance painter. The animal on the sheath at first was just flat shapes with no details on it, and I thought I finished the model. Later on I looked at it again and again, eventually decided I should add more details and to make the animal figures more alive and to give them more characters, since this was a sword made for Paraoh’s battles, it just has to have that spirit. Painting the texture was another challenge since there are just so many details on the original antique. Made this piece with a heart of awe, and it was a great learning experience!
