A model I made for SCP Secret Laboratory’s Parabellum update, or 11.0. This model is based on the HK MG5, and replaced an older version of the Logicer made by another artist that had been in the game for quite some time. This model was a major step up for me, both in complexity and in execution. I faced quite a few challenges in its creation, but am quite happy with the result. I’ve also created a set of first-person animations for the model, which are used in-game. So, I decided to use this diorama school project as a way to explore what 3d can offer and how it looks it other completely different styles. I went on a completely different direction from my first project (treasure chest) going from a some what realistic hand painted to the most stylized texture I could do. I decided to do cell shading for this one, although cell shading material doesn’t export to sketchfab I decided to duplicate every object and flip it’s polygons to give a similar ilusion, ence the diorama having the double of the budget tri on sketchfab. Yo yo yo for second day I decided do something technically challanging model. Normally I really dont have a any experience about exporting a model with multiple armature to sketchfab as I know sketchfab only able to play one armature animation at once. It sounds easy but it is not looking like that in blender. When I join two armatures to each other firstly my rigs stopped to working but after spending lots of search and try finally I got it :D. Made with 3ds max. I used a base mesh and did pretty much a “hand copy” with the vertexs and lines, following the general shape of the base mesh. Had a lot of fun with the edit poly section… My approach was very slow. I modeled by separate leg, arm, hand, breast, head, foot and then put the frankenstein together, the hair (very bad hair), bikini, and other details came later. I did the model as a A pose, and gave that fancy pose with Mixamo. It is now visible to me with this pose that there are separate edges near the join of the crotch and the leg. I don’t know how to Rig right now, so the funny Charles II of Spain vibes that come from a weird model + Mixamo is a welcome plus 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 38182 polygons.
