After returning home, I felt the need to model some of the places I was in, and this is the first model. Fully done with Blender, from texturing to modeling, in the lapse of two days. The Machine Gun Bunker of Alhama de Murcia is one of the best examples of 20th century military architecture in the Region of Murcia. Its design and construction is part of the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), possibly built in 1937, forming part of the Ground Defense Plan of the naval base of Cartagena, strategic installation, from the military point of view, for the survival of the Republic. The bunker is essentially built in concrete, a scarce and valuable material during the war that was only used in priority military installations. It conserves its two lateral entrances. Set of door models initially created for a personal project. Textures are atlased, with painted and polished wood versions having their own sets. Frame models take from the existing materials to retain stylistic consistency as well as saving on draw calls. Also includes modular knobs/handles and plates. The dimensions of the various modules were designed with modularity in mind. I wanted to be able to slot any door to any frame and any handle onto any door in order to improve efficiency. Additionally in my own Unity implementation, the seperation between the door handles and the plates allow animation using transforms. Modelled using Blender, textured in Substance Painter, with additional processing in Substance Designer and Photoshop. On purchase includes a .blend file.
