Al realizar el modelo he tenido que hacer producción en Blender para arreglar la textura, ya que las condiciones de iluminación y la propia vitrina condicionaban las fotos por reflejos que han causado alguna distorsión. Al ir rápido, la zona de abajo se quedó a penas sin capturar, así que se ha realizado arreglo de la zona baja con texture paint y boolean.

The archaeological site of Pyrgos Ragiou (Tower of Ragio) occupies the top of a hill in the middle of the Ragio - Kestrini plain, near the old estuary of the River Kalamas. It was probably an inland stronghold of the nearby 5th century BC seaside settlement on the Lygia Peninsula, which possibly corresponds with ancient Toroni, the Corfian mainland base mentioned by Thucydides. Part of the wider Corfiot installation area was the small fortress Pyrgos Ragiou, which protects the main settlement of Ligia from the inland, while providing shelter to the population in times of war. It owes its modern name to the tower of the Ottoman period, which dominates the hilltop, built up right above the tower of the ancient fortification of the 5th century BC.

Contrairement aux autres portes qui datent de l’époque aghlabide, comme Bab El Gharbi, Bab El Finga est percée avec Bab Jedid et Bab El Jebli au xixe siècle1, plus précisément entre 1892 et 18952, à l’initiative des autorités françaises. Située du côté ouest de la médina, elle se trouvait sous le protectorat français devant la caserne du 4e régiment de tirailleurs tunisiens.
Bien que ce n’est pas la traduction du nom arabe de la porte (qui trouve probablement son origine dans la langue italienne), Bab El Finga est connue en français sous le nom de « porte de la potence » ou « porte de la guillotine ».
