The process consists of modelling a low poly version, from which a copy is made with a very high dense mesh where details are sculpted in, later baked onto its low poly counterpart.
This is arguably one of the first big challenges that I came across in my contributions to the mod, for one simple reason: as a beginner I still did not know how to have more than 1 texture in one single model. Moszna Castle is a beautiful example of eclectic architecture located in the small village of Moszna in southwestern Poland. It was built in the 18th century, although traces of older cellars have been discovered in the gardens.
The central part of the castle is an old Baroque palace, which was partially destroyed by fire in 1896 and reconstructed in the same year by Franz Hubert von Tiele-Winckler. The height of the castle and the numerous turrets and spires give the impression of verticalism, and the whole castle contains exactly ninety-nine turrets.
