The Order of the Temple kept it until the end of its existence. In the fourteenth century it was of the Fernández de Luna. The Archbishop of Zaragoza Lope Fernández de Luna had the building built that can be seen today and gave it in his will along with the towns of Tierga, Jarque de Moncayo, Sestrica, Nigüella and Lucena de Jalón to his sister Toda. When Archbishop Lope Ferrández de Luna died in 1382 the castle was almost abandoned. It passed into the hands of the Ximénez de Urrea upon Toda’s death. An aproximated model of the Cloister of the Kings , also known as Cloister of Processions, in Salamanca, Spain. I visited the city on my latest holidays and I was impressed with its arquitecture. After returning home, I felt the need to model some of the places I was in, and this is the first model. Fully done with Blender, from texturing to modeling, in the lapse of two days. The Machine Gun Bunker of Alhama de Murcia is one of the best examples of 20th century military architecture in the Region of Murcia. Its design and construction is part of the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), possibly built in 1937, forming part of the Ground Defense Plan of the naval base of Cartagena, strategic installation, from the military point of view, for the survival of the Republic. The bunker is essentially built in concrete, a scarce and valuable material during the war that was only used in priority military installations. It conserves its two lateral entrances. Inside the bunker is divided into 3 spaces, two of them for the placement of heavy machine guns and the third to the storage of supplies and ammunition, also serving as a refuge. This model was created from 567 images taken from a DJI Phantom 4 Pro Plus drone. The images were aligned, and the model was generated and textured in Reality Capture. This huge sculpture stands in the middle of Bordeaux (France). When I walked by, I was stunned by this “half flat” sculpture, and shot it with my phone. I was realy impressed by the very realistic rendering, although most of the volume has been flattened. Another feature worth noting : its proportions take into account the fact that the viewer is on the ground, so that the upper part of the head is much larger than it should be , to compensate for the perspective. This is a technique that has been know for a long time, (used by Michelangelo), but it’s interesting to see how it applies here.
