I modeled and textured a retro 1989 Nintendo Gameboy! I tried to keep polygon count low and texture resolution optimized so there is 2 texture sets, one for the gameboy and one for the game cartridge which is Pokemon Yellow! I followed reference as close as I could and tried to get every last detail, even the game connector prongs! Prompted by the lovely staff here at Sketchfab, I have decided to research a bit more about the pistol this model is based on, and boy was it a fun read!
Fun Fact: It costs over 3000$ today
The design dates from the 1860s, and is attributed to Louis Dolne. The gun was manufactured until the end of the 1800s.
One of the rarest gambler/hide away/ personal defense deringers around. Incorporates a 6mm (22) rimfire revolver, “knuckles” that unfold to provide a grip for the revolver and a 2 1/2” folding dagger. Weapon is 4” long when folded. Expands to 8” when at full length. Marked “Dolne - 6mm” (L. Dolne - Imuur) on frame, folding trigger and exposed springs. Brushed finish, overall excellent. Known as the Apache Knuckle-duster (Up-Pash) for the Parisian fighters, called Apaches, that colonized the French capital starting in 1875.

Hard surface project I did from a concept of Sheng Lam.
In this project, I tried to make the result to be as close as possible as the concept and the most realistic possible as well.
For the parts that are not in the concept, I tried to match the general style of the whole with details that still are hard surface and color matching with the drawing.
The walkman is 33k polys and the tapes are 17k polys (3 to 5k polys each) for a total of 55k polys.

This scene was inspired by the classic Beatles song, Eleanor Rigby and Silent Hills playable teaser, P.T.. I tried to mix the mystery behind that music in a game style environment to see if I could show a nice and scary ambiance.
I made a small story in it, nothing fancy, but follow the notes.
I simply love horror, love creating, watching and playing scary games.
I used zBrush, Maya, Blender, 3D Coat, Substance Designer, Substance Painter and xNormals to create this scene.
