Raiden is a particularly unique and compelling character, and I wanted to give him a MK9 redesign that would really stand out while staying true to his MKX look. I might have worked with the MKX model itself, if not for the fact that the cowl on MK9 could be removed - so I did, and added hair according to his concept art. His outfit is much fancier now, suitable for godly attire.
Technical details:
-Face repainted and resculpted to look like MKX. Skin tone adjusted, stubble removed. Cowl removed by paint-work, hair rigged onto his head. Hands also repainted for detail/texture and to match his face.
-All outfit elements upgraded with surface details. Grey cloud pattern applied to white cloth areas, fabric texture added throughout. Cloth dynamics painted onto entire outfit. All metal areas now have an embossed surface.
-Model re-scaled to MKX proportions and height, armature adjusted to A-pose. Hat and amulet upgraded to HD textures as well, both removable 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 20413 polygons.
