In the 1950s, LeTourneau Inc. developed several overland trains, essentially oversized semi-trailer trucks that could travel over almost any terrain. Their intention was to be able to handle logistics needs without being dependent on local road or rail systems, allowing them to operate in back-country areas. The US Army had three experimental units built, the largest reaching almost 600 feet (183 m) long, which holds the record for the longest off-road vehicle. The Mark II had a much larger six-wheeled cab that was over 30 feet (9.1 m). The turbine engine was much smaller than the diesel it replaced, allowing the interior to support a crew of six with sleeping quarters, toilets and a galley. It was even equipped with a radar. An additional two power cars and ten cargo cars were built for testing. This is my first real-time character I’ve made from scratch. I wanted to make a post-apocalyptic character that could belong in a world like Fallout or the Metro series. She goes by Jane. She is a small woman who relies on her tactical awareness to stay alive in an unforgiving wasteland. She is cold-hearted and manipulative. She has some military training and now makes a living robbing and murdering travelers and those who underestimate her. From the original 1987 hit Disneyland attraction Star Tours, the legendary StarSpeeder 3000! The StarSpeeder 3000 was a transport spacecraft used by the Star Tours travel agency. It had room to carry up to 40 passengers. It is unknown what company designed the craft, but they were produced sometime around the Battle of Hoth. The StarSpeeder 3000s were very similar to their predecessors, the StarSpeeder 1000s, both in shape and equipment. The craft was still boxy, with a downwardly angled front side, and still featured the usual five automated doors on both starboard and portside. With its five seating rows, the 3000 could still be boarded by no more than forty passengers at a time.
