The most unique proposal in the AAFSS competition came from the San Diego division of Convair. The Model 49 did not fit the normal mold for either an airplane or a helicopter, and represented something entirely new. Propulsive power came from turbine engines driving counterrotating propellers within the shroud. Convair believed that the system was inherently more reliable than a conventional helicopter, and pointed out the only pilot control inputs involved directional control and setting rotor blade angle and engine speed. The crew of two occupied an articulating capsule on top of the shroud and was provided with a full array of sensors. In the 1950s, LeTourneau Inc. developed several overland trains, essentially oversized semi-trailer trucks that could travel over almost any terrain. Their intention was to be able to handle logistics needs without being dependent on local road or rail systems, allowing them to operate in back-country areas. The US Army had three experimental units built, the largest reaching almost 600 feet (183 m) long, which holds the record for the longest off-road vehicle. The Mark II had a much larger six-wheeled cab that was over 30 feet (9.1 m). The turbine engine was much smaller than the diesel it replaced, allowing the interior to support a crew of six with sleeping quarters, toilets and a galley. It was even equipped with a radar. An additional two power cars and ten cargo cars were built for testing. The Willys MB, better known by its nickname “Jeep”, is a light all-terrain vehicle designed in 1940 and rolled out of the factory in 1941 to US Army specifications.
The Willys MB is almost identical to the Ford GPW and was produced from the year 1941 until the year 1945. It is considered one of the emblems of the Second World War.

Logistics Vehicle System Replacement (LVSR) is a family of a heavy-duty military logistics vehicles of the USMC, in service since 2009.
This particular 3D model is based off of one of the LVSR variants - Multi-Mission Recovery System (MMRS), whose main feature is an autocrane, capabale of lift and recovery of heavy vehicles.
