This is a 3D model is from a laser scanning survey of the remains of a slave house chimney (Chimney 3) from the Stafford Plantation on Cumberland Island National Seashore. The Chimneys are a series of 26 hearth and brick remains in three parallel rows that are found nearby the main Stafford plantation house. The site is undergoing restoration treatments and our 3D survey was performed prior to that work, digitally documenting and preserving the site for archival purposes. Our 3D work is additionally assistive with preservation planning and supportive of management needs, and can be utilized for structural repair documentation, monitoring, and condition assessment. Using these models, 3D prints can also be made to examine construction techniques in tactile ways. The Lions and Castle with shield and crown Coat of Arms depicts Castile and León. This Coat of Arms is found on a Spanish bronze cannon on display at the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument in St. Augustine, Florida. Although this cannon is not original to the Castillo and is on loan, it is similar to the type of arms that were used at the fort. Ornately carved sandstone stela from the Archaeological Park and Ruins of Quiriguá, an inscribed UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Department of Izabal, Guatemala. The piece was 3D laser scanned in 2019 during the extensive documentation survey at the site by our USF Libraries DHHC team. We utilized structured light scanners at various resolutions on this monument as well as imaging and longer range laser scanning to capture landscape context details.

Blockhouse for Launch Complex 21-22, a dual pad site at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Construction began in 1956 of the complex, with the blockhouse finished in 1958. The site was designed to handle Goose-Bull Goose, Mace A, and Mace B missiles. The site was deactivated in the early 1970s, and through the history of the complex, the blockhouse served as a storage building for the Delta program equipment and later as a storage/armory for the U.S. Coast Guard.
