This is a bust of Nefertiti from Assassin’s Creed Origins DLC “The Curse of the Pharaohs”. I’ve made it in two weeks as pressure test for the academy end of the 2nd year project. Nefertiti’s face fidelity and bands around the body were the main challenges I had to face. I took references from the iconic Nefertiti bust from Egyptian Museum of Berlin, in order to replicate the exact face and crowned head shapes. Since academy contest was about Aliens Vs Undeads, I turned her face in a limestone piece as suggested from the official AC Origins DLC cover instead of her golden mask just like appears in the game. I learned a lot from this exercise and understood where I have to improve for the next challenges. Any type of suggestion and/or critique are appreciated! The BRDM-2 (Boyevaya Razvedyvatelnaya Dozornaya Mashina, Боевая Разведывательная Дозорная Машина, literally “Combat Reconnaissance/Patrol Vehicle”) is an amphibious armoured scout car used by states that were part of the Soviet Union and its allies. The BRDM-2 has a crew of four: a driver, a co-driver, a commander, and a gunner. The BRDM-2 entered service with the Soviet Army in 1962. It was first publicly shown in 1966. It replaced the BRDM-1 in the Soviet and Warsaw Pact armies. Production started in 1962 and went on until 1989, with 7,200 vehicles produced. Ungru Manor is one of the most impressive neo-baroque buildings in Estonia, although the castle was never fully completed. It is an imposing building, which is an almost exact copy of the Merseburg Castle in Germany. Behind the construction of the manor was a sad love story: Count Ungern-Sternberg fell in love with the daughter of the lord of Merseburg Castle, who had promised to spend her entire life in Merseburg Castle. The count promised to build an exact replica of the building and she agreed to move there. The Red Dress project, conceived by British artist Kirstie Macleod, provides an artistic platform for women around the world, many of whom are vulnerable and live in poverty, to tell their stories through embroidery. From 2009 to 2022, pieces of the Red Dress travelled the globe being continuously embroidered onto. Constructed out of 84 pieces of burgundy silk dupion, the garment has been worked on by 363 women and 7 men from 50 countries.
