A musket is a long gun that appeared in the 16th century and was the most used defensive weapon in a fortress such as Fort Lillo. The walls of a West European fortress were designed for musket fire. During the 17th century, muskets used matchlock ignition (gunpowder was ignited by a slow-burning piece of cord). Only around 1700, they are replaced by flintlock muskets. A bandolier contained a small poach for bullets, several wooden tubes with the right amount of gunpowder and a metal flask with ignition powder. A few years ago I was asked by PK (aka King Deluxe) to contribute something to his VRChat world called The Land of Ooo, which was based on the cartoon TV series Adventure Time. For reasons I still can’t quite fathom I volunteered to take on creating Finn and Jake’s entire Tree Fort inside and out!
I completed the model but unfortunately other work commitments at the time meant I wasn’t able to texture it, so it was left up to other artists to finish it off.
