This is a chest cointaining two magical Aztec's skulls, which the Spaniards have captured, and since then were using them for their naval conquest. When two or more magical skulls are in contact, they can give unimaginable power to the one in their possetion. Besides the complicated lock, the chest contains one more catch. Inside there are two levers. The left one unleashes the skulls, but the right one must be used too, in order to avoid a trap cutting your hand off. Basically, the right one is for destroying: if it is pulled first - it will smash the skulls, and if it's pulled after left - it can destroy the whole world. This project was made with 3dsMAX, Adobe Photoshop, and Corel Photo Paint.
It was designed to be added to Microsoft Flight Simulator X as an addon.
Some of novelties at the time were the flames of the afterburners wich is part of the 3D model, as opposed to the - at the time - standard use of sprite. On Flight SImulator, it was similar to what I uploaded here, but with a fresnel ramp added to the opacity of the flame in order to made it disappear when approaching 90° from the normal. 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 59109 polygons.
