I have finally decided to make a fanart of something that has deeply touched my heart, so this is a small tribute to the film and the beautiful world of Hayao Miyazaki <3 The modeling and texturing were done with Blender with the help of Substance Designer for Haku's fur and the bakes were done in Marmoset Toolbag. Since YuGiOh MasterDuel was released I instantly fell back in love with the cardgame I grew up with 😍 At first it was hard to catch up with the fastpaced playstyle nowadays, but its still a blast - no better way to pay Tribute than recreating the bossmonster of the deck I’m currently using ✌
The modelling was a very good practice for situations, where the references aren’t necesserily angled perfectly. This way, you definitely have to look at your model from all different angles all the time. But the project definitely deepened my love for creating Anime-Like / NPR Models iand give them my own touch.
