This is a piece I created for this month's CGBoost challenge! Living transmutation is often seen as an alchemy taboo. So what if a kid managed to do it to bring back his pet bird? I had a lot of fun doing this piece. The final render is cel shaded, this is a show of the models. Hippopotamus model was made in Zbrush and retopo and UV Unwrap in Maya with proper topology and looping with Unwraped UV and no over lapping.
