This is part of an environment for VRChat, it’s currently in the process of being uploaded and it has a few rooms. This it the loft/livingroom. :) Once it’s uploaded in VRChat though I’ll give a link if you want to check it up :) The client wanted me to do model and texture their apartment and let me have fun with it. So I went for a stylised approach. I really wanted it to look like an illustration from any angle which really just allows me to merge both my 2D illustrative skills and 3D skills which brings me so much joy! Hi! this is my entry for the Make a Splash in Amsterdam
I reimagined 2.64 Tears of Steel splash screen into an animated world, i love the Bioshock aesthetic and thought that actually TOS it’s pretty cyber/steam punkish and the concept will fit pretty well.
I enter the contest a little bit late so i didn’t have that much time for polish but i’m pretty excited about the out come. In this 3 days i went from, concept art to publishing here on Sketchfab!
I learned a lot doing this project and in the middle I kept a 3 day journal of this piece on my blender artists profile where i show you step by step the process of blocking, modeling, texturing, lighting and finshing in a short and sweet form full of gifs that show the process of each.
