This modified lantern wall clock converted to a clockwork mechanism, exhibits an arched dial with detailed scrollwork. It has the name James Michell of London on its face. The clock is part of the collection from the Moseley Homestead, a National Register of Historic Places site in Brandon, Florida. The 1886 homestead was originally owned by Charles Scott Moseley and his wife Julia Daniels Moseley and later their descendants. Charles Scott Moseley was an inventor and watchmaker, including time as a watchmaker with the Elgin plant in Illinois, where he had a 40-year career as First Superintendent. In order to internalize and learn about the workflow for videogames, I decided to take the course “Realistic Prop Creation for Video Games” by Paula Sánchez-Ferrero Ruiz at Domestika.
With my previous experience and the artist’s guidance, I proceeded to create a model that required baking and work on Zbrush.
All meshes were designed in 3ds Max. The main frame of the bed (made up of welded pipes) was later sculpted in Zbrush.
