Gilt wood shine on carrying poles with a recumbant statue of Anubis on top recovered from the so called “Treasury” room in the tomb of Tutankhamun (KV62) in the Valley of the Kings, 18th Dynasty. The Anubis statue is carved cedar covered wth gesso and black paint. The statue is pegged to the top of the shine which has a seperate board for a lid which slides to reveal an inner comparment, the front portion of which is divided into four smaller compartments. It is currently in the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, Cairo, but will be moved to the new Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) sometime most likely in 2023. The shrine and statue are accession number JE61444 and Carter number 261.

Wooden canopic chest of Yuya from the Tomb of Yuya and Thuya (KV46), Valley of the Kings, Egypt. This wooden chest contained four alabaster canopic jars, each containing the mummified inner organs of Yuya. The chest is currently on display in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo.
Yuya and Thuya were the father and mother of Queen Tiye, the great royal wife of Amenhotep III of the 18th Dynasty. The tomb was discovered virtually intact in 1905 by James Quibell and Theodore M. Davis.
Created from 90 photographs (Canon EOS Rebel T7i) using Metashape 1.6.1 and Blender 3D 2.8. Blender was used to fix some minor aspects of the geometry and texturing caused by the lighting conditions in the museum. Tomb of Tự Đức (Vietnamese: Lăng Tự Đức), officially Khiêm Mausoleum (Khiêm Lăng, Hán tự: 謙陵), is located in Huế, Vietnam. It is built for the Nguyễn Emperor Tự Đức and took three years to build from 1864–1867. It is divided into a Temple Area and a Tomb Area.
Emperor Tu Duc enjoyed the longest reign of any monarch of the Nguyen dynasty, ruling from 1848-1883. Although he had 104 wives and concubines, he was unable to father a son (possibly he became sterile after contracting smallpox). The late 14th century alabaster tomb of Goronwy ap Tudur and his wife Myfanwy, prominent members of the family which gave rise to the Tudor dynasty, is located at St Gredifael’s church in Penmynydd, Anglesey. When the tomb chest was originally carved it would undoubtedly have been one of the finest monuments of its time. It was originally situated in the friary in Llanfaes but following the Dissolution of the Monasteries in the 1530s, the tomb chest was dismantled and moved to its current location at St Gredifael’s near to the original family home of the Tudors.
The model was commissioned by the Church in Wales and completed by Gwynedd Archaeological Trust in 2014, prior to conservation work on the tomb and repairs to the church.
