Unlike my mass-produced Ancient Khajiit armor, this badboy is an end-game, high-tier armor set, made with the mightiest metal, worked by the best blacksmiths, to be worn by the nobility of Roscrea. So I made the set in a way that players can wear it with pride… and hopefully flexing it on their friends next Monday morning.
Although our modern interpretation of the Vikings claims that they were no pretty boys, my study of Vendel period art says otherwise. According to many archaeological evidences, these pillagers took very good care of their appearance and hygiene, wear vibrant color palette and exquisite jewelry, and were capable of producing some of the most intricate art in contrary to popular belief.
With that knowledge, I took certain liberties to gild certain part of the armor in gold and added some more intricate engravings. Was originally suppose to be its own “thing” but about 20% in, i I thought it could work out as being a variant of the cyclops. Had an idea of a variant like this to begin with anyways, of a more abhorrant variety in its own way. So it all worked out in the end.
