FF6 is one of my favourite games of all time, and with the release of the Snes Mini it made me want to replay it. This gave me the idea of creating a tiny diorama of the first city of the game. My goal was to keep only the buildings that I thought represented the city most and create a toy-like diorama.

I made this for the Artstation Untamed Challenge!
I chose not to include a stand for this one and instead just kept it alone. I also decided not to pose the back legs up in the air because it looked very odd without some spiderweb.
The final model ended up with 38,065 faces and 71,689 triangles.
I used two 4K maps, One for the upper body and the Pipe and the other one for the spider legs and butt.

I thought of this idea because I wanted to take something that exists in real life and turn it into something that might live in the World of Warcraft, and I knew the Tuskarr would be a fun culture to delve into. Since they’re based on Walruses I came up with the Milk Delivery Sledge for transporting their milk across the icy places of Northrend and the Dragon Isles. I tried to make everything fit in with the Tuskarr aesthetic and had a lot of fun with it. I appreciate all the feedback I had throughout the process which allowed me to push the project further and I’m really happy with how it looks. Enjoy! :)
