On a hill, and guarding the road that linked the coast with Castile through the Saja Valley, stands the Castle of San Vicente, in Argüeso, within the municipality of the Brotherhood of Campoo de Suso (South of Cantabria, Spain). It is a medieval fortification of military character and Gothic style, which represents the most outstanding and oldest example of rock castle in Cantabria. Built during the XIII, XIV and XV centuries, it was the emblem and fortress of the lordship of the House of Mendoza in the highlands of Campoo. An aproximated model of the Cloister of the Kings , also known as Cloister of Processions, in Salamanca, Spain. I visited the city on my latest holidays and I was impressed with its arquitecture. After returning home, I felt the need to model some of the places I was in, and this is the first model.

First time doing architectural modeling with Blender, but I’m quite satisfied with the result. Fully done with Blender, from texturing to modeling, in the lapse of two days.

The Machine Gun Bunker of Alhama de Murcia is one of the best examples of 20th century military architecture in the Region of Murcia.
