The Grunwald Monument is an equestrian statue of King of Poland Władysław II Jagiełło (1352–1434) located at Matejko Square in Krakow’s Old Town and constructed in 1910 to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the Battle of Grunwald (1410). It was designed by Polish sculptor Antoni Wiwulski and Franciszek Black and funded by renowned pianist and future Prime Minister of Poland, Ignacy Jan Paderewski. The monument was destroyed in 1939 by Nazi Germans and reconstructed in 1976 according to project by Marian Konieczny. A 3d model based on a museum example of a sten like submachinegun in the Polish military museum in Warsaw, the submachinegun or “SMG” was made by Edward Sitek a member of the Polish resistance during the Nazi occupation of Poland in ww2 most likely by hand and out of scrap metal with minimal tools. The design of the submachinegun is most likely based on the famous British Sten gun mixed with the Polish Mors smg, there is also from the looks of it some Russian ppsh 41 influence of the gun as the what could be a safety, fire selector or both look fairly similar to the ppsh 41s fire selector. Not much else is known of the gun as the museum exhibit does not tell you much, no idea what the fire rate was or in what cartridge it was chambered in, my guess is that it’s in the ever popular 9x19 parabellum or “9mm” cartridge as the dimensions seem right to me 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 48635 polygons.

I thought this would be a cool idea and wanted to take the opportunity to create something new for the World of Warcraft universe. I thought of this idea because I wanted to take something that exists in real life and turn it into something that might live in the World of Warcraft, and I knew the Tuskarr would be a fun culture to delve into. Since they’re based on Walruses I came up with the Milk Delivery Sledge for transporting their milk across the icy places of Northrend and the Dragon Isles. I tried to make everything fit in with the Tuskarr aesthetic and had a lot of fun with it. I appreciate all the feedback I had throughout the process which allowed me to push the project further and I’m really happy with how it looks.
