This is a tribute to the beloved cartoonist Charles M. Schulz (1922-2000) and his classic comic strip: Peanuts (1950-2000). The specific strip I chose to model and animated after is from June 22, 1970, where the tiny yellow bird Woodstock was named for the first time by Snoopy. Another tribute of this one is visual storytelling, which successful comic strips have mastered eons ago. So through animation, it is a challenge to capture and to push visual storytelling on this 3D/VR media platform. My personal reason to do this is to celebrate the upcoming birthday of my biological big sister Hennessy, and my non-biological big brother Eliot. Although they’ve never met each others, yet they were born on the same day, same year, and both are avid fans of Peanuts. The beginning of rowing is clouded in history but the use of oars in the way they are used today can be traced back to ancient Egypt. Whether it was invented in Egypt or something learned from Mesopotamia via trade is not known. The Farsia Gundam is an x-Rounder Vagan Mobile Suit , however not everything is as it seems with its pilot Yurin L’ciel at a depper glance. This very Mobile Suit was built with the intent to harness an X-rounder’s ability without the need of direct control of the suit itself with a fairly limited amount of piloting experience as well. Overall, the suit has quite the unique design with its prominently feminine appearance and a complete lack of a transformation mode, instead it utilizes a auxilliary propulsion system in conjunction with remote-controlled Farsia Bits to execute ranged combat against its foes in adition to a beam cannon on its chest as well as a detachable Farsia Sword for closer encounters. Overall this project was a nice but fairly challenging mix between hard-surface and organic-modeling techniques, I also figured I could try and make something more stylized this time. The model has had several parts removed and paint stripped back during an historic attempt at restoration, which has frustrated specific identification. Some elements are suggestive of a Mediaeval cog, especially hull dimensions, keel design and clinker build. Another comparison would be a mid-to-late-18th-century or early 19th-century merchant, or naval, brig. Brigs were two-masted, square-rigged ships which normally had a spanker sail set on the lower mainmast. The foremast was the shorter of the two masts. They were used as both naval and merchant vessels. If this ship is based on a naval vessel it would be classed as a sixth-rate (having 20-28 guns on a single deck) as there are 22 gun-ports. In the mid-1960s, a monument for fallen soldiers of the Battle of Sutjeska was designed by sculptor Miodrag Zivkovic. In the Valley of Heroes, Zivkovic set up a magnificent monument on the top of a hill. The monument enriched the space of the already famous ossuary, built in 1958 by architect Sakeb Hadzihalilovic, with the remaining bodies of 3301 Partisan soldier who died in the Schwarz operation.
