Quiriguá Stela K - shown in relation to image taken in 1909 showing the west (right) and east (left) sides of the monument. The photo was taken during fieldwork at the site by Edgar Hewett, Director of the School of American Archaeology in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This carved stone monument belongs to the Maya site of Quiriguá, located in the Department of Izabal, Guatemala. The USF CDHGI team is working in collaboration with Guatemalan archaeologists and site management to record stela, monuments, and carvings, as well as terrain and site landscape details.

The original structure was built in 1904 according to the design of the architect Nikolay Zhukov and has undergone some reconstructions since then. It was also sometimes called “Tatar Mosque” because its congregation consisted mainly of ethnic Tatars. Socially, the Moscow Congregational Mosque was often viewed as the central mosque in Russia. It was one of the four mosques in Moscow.
The old mosque was demolished on 11 September 2011. The decision to demolish it was controversial.[1] In June 2008, the mosque was recognized as an object of cultural heritage, however, in the end of 2008 it was removed from the list of historical and architectural monuments.
A new mosque has been built at the site of the former one. It was officially inaugurated on 23 September 2015.

In the mid-1960s, a monument for fallen soldiers of the Battle of Sutjeska was designed by sculptor Miodrag Zivkovic. In the Valley of Heroes, Zivkovic set up a magnificent monument on the top of a hill. The monument enriched the space of the already famous ossuary, built in 1958 by architect Sakeb Hadzihalilovic, with the remaining bodies of 3301 Partisan soldier who died in the Schwarz operation. After two years of construction, Zivkovic’s monument was ceremoniously opened in 1972.
Wings of victory are placed on the top of the hill so that the entire valley of the Sutjeska River can be seen. The valley, bearing blood and suffering of less than a century old battle, is now protected by a magnificent white monument. On the one hand, all of the monument’s representativity is attained by the environment and nature itself, but on the other hand, any man walking by it will be left curious. 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 99999 polygons.
