I wanted to do a chibi model of Asuka after working on the Mass Produced Evangelion character (also visible on my page!), and in the end I think she came out really cute! I like modeling cute things truthfully as well as figurative characters, so this project was definitely a lot of fun. It was once again a big learning experience though, as I really tried to work on things like facial topology, that anime-feeling style, and being painterly with my textures. I still have a long way to go of course, but this felt like a big milestone that I’m happy to have done! Study sculpt of a Tulkun, a whale-like creature from the upcoming Avatar sequel The Way Of Water. Done entirely in Nomad Sculpt for iPad. Since my sculpting skills are limited the topology is really messy and all over the place, haha. Also there aren’t many references for this creature abailable yet, so considering all of this I think it turned out okay-ish.
